Cause of death: the autopsy
The generic "AI runs your business" product was already a funded land-grab (one rival raised a $75M Series A, another hit about €12M a year in revenue in year one), and 78% of US small-business owners said they don't fully trust AI to handle even low-level tasks without oversight. Research 10 called it a NO. When the farm re-scored it on 2026-10-04 it got 5 out of 25, the lowest of nine offers: demand 0, and LinkedIn invites to traditional small-business CEOs and finance heads were accepted 0 times out of 22.
The numbers
