Cause of death: the autopsy
It was ranked the overnight push's number one lead on the claim that free SBOM validators go stale after each spec release. A first probe said 2 of 2 readable free tools failed, but a fresh verifier re-ran them and found only 1 of 4 readable tools was actually out of date, and the official command-line validators are maintained and free. The '1.3k GitHub issues' pain figure was word-match noise, and the $159/month price anchor pays for SBOM hosting and vulnerability scans, not for being current. The verifier ruled it should not rank first, and the farm narrowed to XRechnung instead.
The numbers
None. It was never built, so there are no visitors, sales or ad spend to count. It died on paper, which is the cheapest place to die.
Could rise again if
Kept as a possible later module on the same rule-change engine if the XRechnung fake door proves people pay for currency.
