Cause of death: the autopsy
After the Supreme Court ruled the IEEPA tariffs unlawful, US Customs estimated about $166 billion across 53 million entry summaries could be refunded. But it is a one-off event that fades to zero once refunds are paid, so it failed the farm's rule that a business must earn from ongoing upkeep. The synthesis kept it only as a possible way in for a different product, not as a business.
