Cause of death: the autopsy
The red team found the whole pitch already live: Prep800 sells an AI essay grader, a 12,000-question bank and timed mocks from ₪120 a month, the state course is free and alone licensed to use the test maker's real questions, and the test maker publishes a free practice test in the new format. A funded AI prep startup for the same exam (examPAL) shut down in Dec 2024. The full course angle scored 2/10, and the December 2026 session was already too late to sell into.
The numbers
None. It was never built, so there are no visitors, sales or ad spend to count. It died on paper, which is the cheapest place to die.
Could rise again if
The exam moves fully to computer with a published date, or Prep800 and the state course stop grading essays.
