Cause of death: the autopsy
The forcing is real (Virginia from 2026-07-01, Maine 2026-07-29), but at least 3 free single-purpose checkers, an Apify actor, SixFifty and Loio were already on page one. The free ones were incomplete (the Apify checker covers 9 states and had 2 users), another case of stale free tools with no payer.
The numbers
None. It was never built, so there are no visitors, sales or ad spend to count. It died on paper, which is the cheapest place to die.
