Cause of death: the autopsy
Flagged first in the plugin-decay lens, then measured: 63 of 73 top paid PrestaShop modules (86%) already declared version 9 compatibility, and version 8.2 is still patched so nobody is forced to move. The lens kill line (80%) was hit.
