Cause of death: the autopsy
Alpaca, Webull and Moomoo already give AI agents free paper trading, and at least four free GitHub projects run a dry-run or paper mode against Robinhood's own agent connection. A test bench gets used for one week before funding, so a subscription churns in month one. Robinhood's own built-in agent, launched Sep 29, 2026, can't be pointed at an outside server, and the agentic accounts held only about $1,000 each. Red-team survive score: 2 out of 10.
The numbers
None. It was never built, so there are no visitors, sales or ad spend to count. It died on paper, which is the cheapest place to die.
Could rise again if
Robinhood opens its Agent Apps shelf to outside developers, publishes a sandbox that others may wrap, or a wave of agent-loss stories brings people asking to pay for a simulator.
