Cause of death: the autopsy
Slack throttled non-Marketplace commercial apps from 2026-03-03, and 54 GitHub issues appeared in 6 weeks. But Slack gives its review guide and checklist away free and bans the workaround, and its pre-set test of at least 10 distinct 2026 rejection threads found only 1.
