Cause of death: the autopsy
pyvat ships a Finland fix merged in 2024 but never released, so pinned users still charge 24%. But the demand signal is 2-3 GitHub issues, the fix is one pull request or a library switch, and an earlier similar idea (Sunset Guard) never found a payer either.
The numbers
None. It was never built, so there are no visitors, sales or ad spend to count. It died on paper, which is the cheapest place to die.
Could rise again if
The report left no way back.
Evidence
- Lens 11 widened: open rate/tariff reference datasets that apps embed, and their lag behind the source
