Cause of death: the autopsy
Three small 'decision model' launches in one week made fixed-choice classifiers cheap. The farm first scored a hosted classifier API at 14 out of 25 and dropped it as a commodity, since every large AI model API already does this. Three days later a fine-tuning version scored 10 and died too: Cloudflare now hosts and fine-tunes these models itself.
