Cause of death: the autopsy
The job is a commodity: a regulated AI law firm inside Xero charges £2 a chaser and £7.50 a letter before action, recoverable from the debtor; Paidnice adds interest automatically; Chaser and debtor-pays collectors exist. The state's free Small Business Commissioner service covers exactly the small-supplier-versus-larger-payer case, and even that recovered only £1.5m in 2025-26. Paid clicks at about £1+ can't pay back on £7.50 or less per case.
The numbers
None. It was never built, so there are no visitors, sales or ad spend to count. It died on paper, which is the cheapest place to die.
Could rise again if
If the owner's own test gets at least 5 real overdue invoices and 2 people willing to pay £15+ per case, at under £20 per case.
