Cause of death: the autopsy
Meta's rate card puts a service message at $0.0014 in India and $0.0067 in Nigeria, with 1,000 a month free. A business sending 5,000 replies a month pays about $5.60 more a month in India and $27 in Nigeria, less than the audit would cost. Only big senders face real bills, and their providers (MSG91, Wati) already sell the fix. Rescored from 20 to 12 out of 25.
The numbers
None. It was never built, so there are no visitors, sales or ad spend to count. It died on paper, which is the cheapest place to die.
Could rise again if
Meta's 2027-01-01 rate card triples Indian or Nigerian rates, or agencies running WhatsApp for 20+ clients want one cross-provider cost report.
